As if an all-black cast didn't already have us frantic with excitement in anticipation of the "Black Panther" movie, rapper, Kendrick Lamar alongside his Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) family have been announced curators of the film's soundtrack, simply entitled "Black Panther". This follows a slate in the visuals for his DAMN. track "LOVE" released in December which read “B. Panther Soundtrack Coming Soon." clearly hinting at his involvement.
Cherry-picked by director, Ryan Coogler, Lamar who was already involved in the selection of the "black panther" album with his track -All The Stars -in collaboration with music It girl, SZA, as the soundtrack's lead single, will be even more so as he has been charged with curating the entire "Black Panther" album.

According to the Fader, this is Lamar's first time writing, producing, performing and curating music for a major motion picture. Needless to say that the Compton MC's delivery will be nothing short of spectacular.

The 16th of February couldn't come any sooner so we can finally watch the stars (Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong'o, Michael B. Jordan, Daniel Kaluuya, Forest Whitaker, and Angela Bassett.) of the black panther movie in action.
