Zak Salad is a film maker intent on preaching the gospel of the multifariousness of black men.
In his latest effort, a photo series titled Strong Black Men, the East-Africa born, British-raised director tackles invisibility and representation. Zak plays the muse in his own narrative, in collaboration with photographer Sammi Swar. He uses color as a motif, embodying diverse characters in the eye-catching portrait series.
This vibrant photo series is a beautiful depiction of necessary bravado.
