ageless galaxy teams up with iconic noodle place bakmi gm for a collaborative collection

What does streetwear have to do with noodles? For Ageless Galaxy, these two things have more in common than you think.
One of our go-to streetwear brands, Ageless Galaxy has released a collaborative collection with Bakmi GM, an iconic noodle joint based in Indonesia.
Bakmi GM was founded in 1959, which makes it 60 years old this year. There’s no one in Indonesia who doesn’t know what Bakmi GM is. Its pangsit goreng (fried wonton) has been a must-have item at gatherings or office parties. It’s everyman’s comfort food. And here’s where the similarity with streetwear lies. Because what good is streetwear if it doesn’t cater to your comfort?
For Ageless Galaxy, Bakmi GM is also a brand that they look up to, a name that has successfully built its legacy from the ground up, and creating a collection dedicated to them is a way to pay homage.
The theme of the collection centers around Bakmi GM’s past and future, and their goal to bring people together. The signature menu items that are loved by friends and families of different generations are featured prominently on the five T-shirts and one long-sleeved shirt that make up the whole collection.
Completing the line-up is limited edition chopsticks, noodle bowl and tote bag.
The AGLXY x Bakmi GM collection is available starting October 25 on Ageless Galaxy’s website.
