daily paper x komono look to the future with a bold collab
The future is (hopefully) bright, gotta wear Daily Paper x KOMONO shades.
Daily Paper is a master in the art of collaboration, and it's only one of many reasons why it's on the top of our list of favorite contemporary fashion labels. We're five months into 2020, and the brand has rolled out special collaborative projects with UK creative collective Jiggy Boyz and Van Gogh Museum. The latest to team up with Daily Paper is an accessory brand based in Antwerp, Belgium, KOMONO.
For their first-ever partnership, the two brands are releasing a unisex sunglass line, Kenyatta.
Because the future is (hopefully) bright, the Kenyatta shades are well-equipped with bold and big features, from their wide rectangular frames and large UV-protected dark-tinted oval lenses, to their broad chunky arms with silver-plated "DAILYPAPER" branding. The sunglasses also come in varied colorways, from the conventional black to the more daring tortoise and Racing Red.
Complimenting the collection's futuristic style is the ad campaign, which features portraits of glittery models, rich hues and of course, the Kenyatta sunglasses.
Kenyatta will drop on May 15 on Daily Paper’s and KOMONO’s websites.
