From August 31 to September 2, Jakarta-based fashion label Public Culture (PC) successfully transformed a gallery into a three-day anger management workshop/exhibition. Held to celebrate the launch of PC’s ninth collection, aptly named “Anger Management,” the interactive exhibition featured an “Anger Room” installation, where attendees were welcomed to beat the crap out of everything.

The brand has recently released the lookbook for said collection. “[This] is not about anarchy,” says the official statement that accompanies the lookbook. “It is solely about channeling your anger the right way, the PC way.”
Inspired by all the things that make us angry—and, let’s face it, there are a lot, especially these days—PC explores a different aesthetic approach to the new collection. The graphics and colors are influenced by Punk and Grunge subcultures. The pieces come with bold designs to symbolize PC’s protest to the society.
Collection #09: Anger Management also includes five exclusive T-shirt designs, which are only available on the webstore and the brand’s flagship stores in Jakarta and Bandung.

The androgynous label releases the lookbook for its nothingness-inspired Spring/Summer 2019.
