Globetrotter sits down with DJ and founder of the Friends & Fam party, Matthew Law, prior to his performance in Jakarta.
interview by: Kennedy Ashinze
words by: Bere Wangge
In West Philadelphia born and raised, Matthew Law has worked his way up to become a bona fide DJ, delivering performances in many cities around the world, including Jakarta, where he was set to play at Parc 19 on December 7.
After braving Jakarta's construction-ridden roads, Matthew paid Globetrotter a visit and talked about building his own brand, both as a DJ and the founder of the ever-growing Friends & Fam party. He credited the people who "brought [him] up in the Philly scene" such as King Britt, Rich Medina and Jazzy Jeff for getting him where he is today.
