Our friend DJ LADY FLiC must know a thing or two about healing. After all, she spent a few years living in the land of Eat Pray Love itself, Bali, before moving to her current home, New York. LADY FLiC reps the best in underground music, whether spinning balearic vibes under the coconut trees at sunset or rocking dance floors from NY to NZ, LADY FLiC has supported legends such as Snoop Dogg, Roy Ayers, Derrick May & Kevin Saunderson, Karizma, Fatboy Slim, Oddisee and Mr Scruff, and had personal props for her DJ skills from the likes of John Legend, Mark Ronson, Kurupt, King Britt, Osunlade and Maurice Fulton.
In 2020 she is based between Bali and NYC, and she is moving with the crazy times, diversifying and moving into the online space, staying true to her passion for elevation of all kinds, and helping other creatives to build and leverage their personal brands. But music is still at the forefront, stay tuned for news about her monthly ELEVATiON RADiO SHOW, broadcasting from a station out of the UK from August 12.
Most recently in Bali she helped to launch the new Seminyak beachside hotspot SugarSand, driving the creative and musical program and implementing a jazz and soul inspired, forward thinking music policy, booking and playing alongside artists such as Lefto, Benji B, Roy Davis Jr, Alexander Nut, Jordan Rakei and Waajeed.
An immense love for music of all styles, a refusal to be put into a box and a passion for weaving a colorful musical tapestry with her sets, LADY FLiC has carved out a unique DJ career that has taken her all over the globe. From clubs, raves and radio in New Zealand to the Red Bull Music Academy in Dublin, to slinging vinyl and hosting pirate radio in London, and around the world to her current base of beautiful Bali.
