Showcasing the boundless and diverse sounds of Africa.

With ever-growing number of listeners spread across the globe, African music is no longer confined within the continent. And now it's going to reach even more people, thanks to Apple Music's latest radio show.

Last weekend, the streaming service has officially launched its very first radio show in Africa. Hosted by Nigerian music producer and DJ, Cuppy, the show is streaming every Sunday at 9AM EDT for one hour.

Each week, "Africa Now Radio with Cuppy" will play an array of genres, from Afrobeat, rap, house, kuduro and more, to showcase the boundless and diverse Afro-centric sounds. “The show represents a journey from West to East and North to South, but importantly a narrative of Africa then to Africa now,” Cuppy says in an official statement.

The show will also feature special guests such as Nigerian producer Kiddominant who became the first artist to come and talk about his new single "eWallet" via FaceTime. Also making an appearance (by a telephone) was South African actress and the star of Netflix's Queen Sono, Pearl Thusi, who called in to share her favorite song at the moment.
