For rising Afrobeat star, Skiibii, his breakthrough couldn't come soon enough. Following a false death rumor, Skiibii's career pretty much plunged into purgatory for three years until he dropped his single "Sensima" (2019). Featuring singer-songwriter Reekado Banks, it became one of the most played songs on Nigerian radio and dominated domestic charts for the whole year.

Perhaps it's their chemistry, but things just click. The duo has also teamed up for another hit, "London", and now, a newly-released duet track, called "Banger".
Produced by Rhymebamz, the song is a feel-good, danceable track; a much-needed joy during these difficult times. Skiibii and Reekado match their melodic vocals with adlibs and native dialect, and lay them on the smooth, sensual, mid-tempo beats.

“Banger” is the third single by Skiibii this year, as he has previously come out with “Somebody” featuring Kizz Daniel and “Egungun” featuring Obesere. With a string of solid releases and collaborators/friends in high places, Skiibii definitely isn't letting his second coming go to waste.
